2morrow is 2morrow + a dream

The new year is starting out slow, but at a good pace. Today was a most awesome day. We found out we are having a BOY! To give you my reaction, it hasn't sunk in yet. I mean I am excited and have much joy, but I think with this one I am going to be a lot happier once I have our gift from God in our hands. I am happy, I'm just somehow not acting like I did when Mary Ann was pregnant with Caroline. I wonder if this is a reaction parents get when they are on their second child. I can not imagine how my mother felt on her 6th child and she went on to deliver four more.

I took a brief nap today and I had a dream. I guess I will post my dreams up when I can remember them. I have always wanted to document my dreams, I just never have. I even had some knowledge on how to remember dreams. Here is what I know.

1) keep a diary or notebook next to your bed so you can write them down when you first wake up.
2) Most of your dreams will be peaking around 4:30-5:30 am.
3) When you first wake up lay still and the dream may come back to you.
4)Some dreams are remembered during your morning shower.

So here is my dream for today.

I was in a house and I walked out to a side porch. There Caroline was looking up at a tree which was right by the porch. As I am writing this I believe I was at my grandmothers house in Dilley,TX. She had some chairs out front under a tree and against the house. She did not have a porch, but I know now this is where the dream took place.

Caroline was looking up at the birds in the tree. I walked over there to her and looked up, I think she asked me what are the birds doing I said they are eating. I could see the birds had something in their beaks. A bird came and landed on a branch with the other birds with something large in its beak. I thought" look that bird caught a snake". The snake appeared to big for the small bird to hold. I was amazed because I could not believe such a small bird (sparrow) could carry a large snake. I looked again and focused closely on the snake,as the bird hopped from branch to branch. I realized that was no snake, it was a catfish.


Caroline turned around and wanted to go inside the house so we went into the living-room /bedroom. My grandmother's bedroom was also a living room, her bed was off to a corner. Caroline walked in and ran thru the living room and out the side door of the house. As she went out my brother Victor and Tony walked in. They looked concerned, Victor put down something on the chair next to the bed and Tony stood at the door way to the living room. Victor said the police just took Greg. I said what ? really? Victor said yes, the police were taking somebody else in and Greg went up to the police and started asking questions. Greg wanted to know why the police were taking the guy in, what had the guy done. The police asked Greg for his name and took him because he was on probation. I was like man, thats sad. I was disappointed because Greg was now in jail , because he could not keep himself from the situation.

I woke up.

Next part is real.
My cousin Greg was shot in a drive by when he was mistaken as a gang member. The guys that shot him thought he was a gang member who had made threats to them earlier that day.
