Gifts to GO

This morning our schedule went a little smoother than yesterday.
My daughter didn't insist on watching another DVD or show on TV prior to getting out the door.
I still have to wrap two gifts. My mother's, who is in AZ for the holidays. She wanted dish towels and some Oil of Olay. I finally got around 2 getting her dish towels. I had them embroided with her initials. I must say this was very costly. I could not believe how expensive it was just to put initials on dish towels. Can you believe it cost at one place $15 an item, just to get two initials sewed on the towels. I called a another location same company and they said they would work with me on the price. I payed $27 to get the initials sewed on six towels. Thats more than the towels cost. At least its for my mother.
The other gift is a pull over sweater, we forgot to wrap it and give it to my nephew on Christmas Day. It was lost with the boxes in our spare room. My nephew was not at the party so we forgot that we forgot to wrap it.

I am taking the gifts to my mother's house where they will be taken to AZ via MexicanVan lines.
We got a chance to see some really cool out door Xmas decorations last night. My Mother- in- law called around 6pm and said we just had to take our daughter right now.
We had our doubts on whether this was worth getting out of our normal evening routine .

Much to our surprise this turned out to be a pretty good display. This house had 6 big wooden boxes, I would guess 5ft tall and 6ft wide. Each box contained a scene with mechanical moving parts. It was amazing. My daughter had a good time and my Mother- in- Law was right, this is a must see Xmas display of lights. The compelling thing that made my Mother-in-Law get us out of the house was a sign which stated "This year will be the last year for the display boxes" Although the sign appeared worn as if it had been placed on the box the previous year. It could have been worn from being outside during this seasons snow fall. Enjoy the pictures !

This house is in Plano,TX on Northcrest Street. ( I think)

Thats all there is to That.
