Driving on memory lane

Today, I was driving to the office listening to the radio. The radio was on 70's music. The song was by Credence Clearwater Revival, " Have you ever seen the rain" Man, I was jamming, I had the radio loud, and I was singing. I was on 635 , I was wearing my new tie,new shirt and new slacks. The next song came on and it was "Dancing Days" by Led Zepplin. It was cooool, This song reminded me of being in college, driving to school. On Monday morning I would drive from Farmers Branch to Cedar Hill. This took about 45 minutes to 1 hr in rush hour traffic. The last song that came on before I got to the office was "More than a feeling" by Boston. This song reminded me of Highschool. The baseball team would always listen to Boston on the bus going to games or when ever we hung out. As I was pulling into the parking lot, I was feeling really good, really lucky. I had a smile on my face. I was fortunate to have had music in my life. Music reminds me of good time in my past. I smiled because I remembered I used break in to my older brothers room when he was working or out on the town. I would plug the headphones in and turn up the music. Sometimes I would fall asleep with the headphones and the record player going.
